Bryson, only 34 years old, is the heart and soul of every gathering. His vibrant personality and contagious laughter bring joy to everyone around him. It’s no surprise that he is loved by many, and he has been blessed with a wonderful wife, Mandi, and two adorable sons, Zack and Avery. He and Mandi have been happily married for five years, and their family is the center of their world.
Eleven months ago, Bryson’s life was dramatically changed when he received devastating news about his liver. He had reached life-threatening levels of cirrhosis and urgently needed a full liver transplant. Despite his challenges, including numerous hospital stays, Bryson has remained optimistic and continues to inspire those around him with his unwavering spirit.
After months of uncertainty, Bryson has finally made it to the top of the transplant list, and surgery could be scheduled as soon as three weeks from now. This surgery is crucial to rebuilding his health and giving him a chance at a new, healthy life. With the support of his loved ones and the power of prayer on his side, this Christmas could be an exceptional and joyous occasion for the Smith family.
Despite the hardships they are facing, Bryson and his family remain grateful for the help they are receiving. Immediately after being diagnosed with his illness, Bryson was forced to stop working, which put a financial strain on the family. Through it all, Mandi has been an incredible source of strength. Not only as Bryson’s rock but taking on motherhood responsibilities and doing her best to provide for their family during these challenging times. Her resilience and determination are truly inspiring.
Despite the difficult road ahead, the family is doing their best to prepare for life after Bryson’s surgery. He will have an initial hospital stay of one month, and the transplant center has advised that he stay at a nearby hotel for up to two months after that. The family has been working hard to make arrangements for his care and is determined to support Bryson and help him through this challenging journey. They are grateful for the support they have received along the way.
